The aim of this seminar is to provide an overview of the design process and the technical aspects of making audio for Virtual Reality applications. The emphasis is especially on the creation of interactive audio for 360 videos and immersive experiences. Hands-on examples will be provided on how to make and implement audio assets within the Unity3D game engine, using the audio middleware FMOD and focusing on the use of spatial audio.
XR Developer, Programmer and Technical Sound Designer. Giacomo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science applied to Music and he is specialized in Music Composition for Film and Game Audio. He works as team leader of Uqido's Virtual and Augmented Reality team, developing immersive experiences for big companies in the fields of Industry 4.0, Architecture, Retail, Entertainment and Healthcare.
