Abstract

Color, and more specifically, color harmony has an important role in creativity and design. During the talk a qualitative colour theory, and the operations to create harmonic colour palettes, will be presented. Then the process to classify these palettes as a life-style, as for instance casual, romantic, elegant, and so on will be introduced. Moreover, the palettes generated can be rated in function of the taste of the people by using social data. Several applications of this model will be presented mainly focused in the tourism area.

Short bio:

Lledó Museros began her scientific activity in the industry, working in the R & D department of ISOCO (Intelligent Software Components S.A.), and then at ALICER and ITC technological institutes. In 2002 she joined the Universitat Jaume I, and since 2009 she is associate professor at the Department of Engineering and Computer Science. Her main line of research is focused on Qualitative Reasoning, and Cognitive Processes, in which she has obtained contributions of scientific and social impact.
